Happy New Year!

As we jump into 2025, we’ve decided to ixnay the complete life overhaul – it’s just too much. Instead, this year we’re going to be kind and gentle with ourselves. And we’re planning small, meaningful changes that can add up to big differences for our health, stress and sanity. 

And our resolutions are so good, we know that you’re going to want to steal a few:

1. Start the day with a breath

Our 2025 morning routines start with a powerful shift: 3 minutes of belly breathing before reaching for our phones. This simple practice melts away morning anxiety and sets a calm foundation for the day ahead. Learn more about how breathwork can help your anxiety.

2. Weekly breast exams 

This year, monthly breast self-exams are non-negotiable. Because early detection saves lives. Our podcast with Jennie Dale from Dense Breasts Canada was a wake-up call – especially about the importance of knowing your breast density score and getting regular screenings. And in case you didn’t hear, women aged 40+ can now self-refer for mammograms in many provinces and states. No more waiting for permission to take charge of our health!

3. Earlier skincare (because night me is lazy).

4. Prioritizing sleep

This year, we’re getting serious about sleep. Everything we’ve learned from our expert interviews points to one truth: quality sleep is the secret sauce for supporting hormones, moods, and pretty much everything else that matters. 5. Celebrating the small stuff

This year, we’re acknowledging all those tiny wins that add up to major change. A morning walk? That’s a win. Choosing a salad over fries? Victory! Consistency over perfection is our new motto. As Amy Shoenthal explains in her book The Setback Cycle, small celebrations actually rewire our brains for success. Plus, when obstacles pop up, having a track record of tiny wins helps keep us moving forward.

We believe in starting small and keeping it manageable. That the simplest changes can lead to the most meaningful transformations.
