Well hello, January. I see you there, quietly judging me for all my holiday indulgences.

This Is Perimenopause with Gina Livy

And I know what you’re thinking. That yet again, I’m going to start the year off strong with kale smoothies and gym memberships and end up face-first in a box of Valentine chocolates. That despite my good intentions, this is NOT going to be the year that I finally crack the code.  

This is where I was last January. Standing where many of you are right now. Wanting desperately to make a change, but feeling defeated before I began because of my 40+ years of yo-yo dieting.

And then my friend, Karen, told me about The Livy Method. 

The program was only $75 for three months, so I figured worse case, I’d add another tool to my already over-flowing weight loss toolbox. (Like many of you, I have tried it ALL!) I thought, “What the heck. Maybe this time it will be different.” 

And it was! Something clicked right away – a deep knowing that I had finally found not just another temporary fix, but the permanent solution I’d been looking for all these years.

I only lost 4 lbs that first program, but oddly, I wasn’t discouraged. In fact, I felt better than I had in years. I was sleeping better, I had more energy, and my clothes felt looser (despite what the scale said). 

Before I continue, I want to be clear that while I am all in on The Livy Method and am a total fangirl, we’re not getting anything out of this promotion. No kickbacks, payments, or bribes. This is just me, sharing something amazing with you that I truly believe in.

The Livy Method isn’t your typical quick-fix weight loss program (well maybe for some, but not me). It’s taken me a year to lose 20 pounds, and I’ve still got a little more to go. But I’m ok with that. Because for this first time ever, my weight loss feels sustainable. Instead of white-knuckling my way through another diet, I’m learning a gentler approach to eating that doesn’t leave me feeling deprived.

The Livy Method isn’t about calorie counting or measuring out portions. Gina doesn’t even make you break up with wine!  Seriously, not once this year have I felt deprived, punished or guilty.

It’s about changing your relationship with food. Getting in tune with your body’s hunger cues, being calm around food, and learning to trust yourself again. And what really makes The Livy Method special is the community. It’s not one of those toxic spaces full of humble-brags and before-and-after shots.  Instead it makes you feel wrapped up in a blanket of support.

Gina’s not only changed my relationship with food, with the scale, and with the voices in my head, Gina has changed my life.
